Calley was walking, just walking. Ever since she had fallen apart she had taken to walking, she didn't have much else to do since Martin wouldn't let her work, her holodeck privileges had been revoked and she didn't really have any hobbies because all she had ever done was work. She had walked almost ever deck at this point bar the bridge and deck 2. She had been wondering more and more, endlessly and blankly. The look on her face was just off, it was blank, not the concentrated look she normally had, the look she had put on for the world.

She wished she knew what else to do, how else to be, how else to act. How could she act like herself? Who was herself? These were all questions she had been endlessly asking herself over and over during her walks. She hadn't come up with any answers yet, she didnt even know if she could come up with the answers herself. Martin had been helping when he could but he was still a doctor, he was still the chief medical officer of a starship, he couldnt just stop and do nothing but talk with her, support her the way she wanted. The way she needed.

Lost in thought as she turned a corner, the ship suddenly launched her sideways. The floor had lurched falling away from her and suddenly moving sideways. She slammed into the wall with surprising force considering the ship was supposed to have dampeners to stop these kinds of things from happening. She laid there waiting as the ship bucked a few more times waiting for it to stabilize before she did anything. After what felt like several long moments to ensure it wouldnt happen again, she started to feel herself poking and prodding to make sure she hadn't broken anything. Satisfied she was, bar some bruising, fine she stood up. That had been violent and she was sure there would be injuries but... that wasn't her problem anymore.

"Ow."

Alistair had been flung out of a security office and onto the floor in the hall. That was fine, he was already making his way out. Gravity was simply helping. But, as he made an attempt to stand, another ship rocking had him hit his head, and he decided it best to stay there until the ship was stable again and the artificial gravity was not going to work against him. So there he waited.

After what felt like a reprieve from the turbulence, Alistair hoisted himself up, propping himself against the wall while trying to re-orient himself. Something was off. And he was dizzy. He frowned, looking ahead to see if there was anyone to help.

"Ah, Ma'am..." he vaguely recognized the woman from the med bay, but with the dizziness, he was having a hard time making out her features. Best not to call her by whatever title popped up first. "Do you mind helping me out? I'm having a time seeing straight..."

Calley frowned, no this wasn't her problem. She wasn't on duty anymore she wasn't anything anymore so why would help this man? "I'm sure there's already a medical team roaming the deck to find injured." She replied even as she moved over and knelt down beside the yellow-clad Lieutenant. Why was she moving down, getting closer even if it wasn't her problem to do this anymore?

"How many fingers am I holding up?" Calley asked as she held up three fingers in front of the man's head. She began to run a hand over his shoulders, up his neck and the back of the head to see if there was any bumps, cuts anything out of the normal that would make her immediately worried.

Alistair's lips thinned as he concentrated hard on the woman's hand. And while he was sure the worst of his injury was a minor bump, lying about what he was observing would do him absolutely no good. "Well, Ma'am, the three of you are holding up three fingers," he stated firmly. "And, I think that might be not what I'm supposed to be seeing."

Calley let out a sigh as she felt the side of the Lieutenant's neck, "No sir, that it not what you're supposed to be seeing." She tucked some of her loose hair behind her pointed ear and counted silently to herself, eyes shut for several seconds trying to pace out the beats of his heart. "Strong pulse, standard for a vulcanoid," the nurse muttered to herself.

She pulled her hand back and opened her eyes, looking directly at the other person. She looked away a slight blush on her face though she was unsure why she was embarrassed by the closeness when she had never been before. "Is there anywhere specific that hurts other than your head?"

"No." The security officer gave pause. "Just the head. I hope you don't mind me... asking while you're making sure I won't suffer permanent damage from a minor bump, but you wouldn't have happened to have seen anything odd around here, have you? There was a report or two about odd animals running about, and I wanted to be sure we didn't pick something up from that Tholian ship."

"I... no?" Calley said a confused look on her face, was he really seeing odd animals running about or...? "I'm a little concerned about your head you could possibly have a concussion. Those are harder for half Vulcan's to get but they do happen if you take a hard enough hit." She shuffled over a bit on her knees until she was directly in front of him so that he wouldn't have to turn his neck and strain anything, "Though that can also change depending on how much Vulcan you have in you."

"... Zero, Ma'am." Alistair gave a slight smile, rubbing the back of his head. "I'm Romulan on my mother's side. I'm not sure how that changes my susceptibility to concussions, but my siblings and I did manage to get enough of them. Mostly them, but if Romulans have similar physiology to Vulcans, then it stands to reason that asking my family about our history of head trauma might uh... Change that statistic."

Calley frowned for a moment as she thought about that, she hadn't been aware there was another half Romulan on board like her. Had she been ignoring him? She had never seen the man before there was that, past the simple sightings in the corridors or at one of the ship's lounges she had always just assumed that he was half Vulcan. "I wouldn't be sure myself, never got one as a kid." She responded somewhat out of character, giving far more information to someone she had just met then she had ever before even if it was just such a simple sentence.

"Either way, we need to get you to sickbay." She popped up into a crouch and moved to his side, manoeuvring an arm behind him and pulling him to his feet. "Head injuries are nothing to be trifled with regardless of species."
