| Physical Description | Rozha is a tall and solid Tellarite woman, “strong in body and mind” as she would put it. She is an imposing figure and she does not much care for Starfleet uniforms, preferring to obscure their lines with a classic lab coat or working apron. She is rarely found without a belt pouch containing datapad, a tricorder and a handful of specialized tools. She wears a pair of glasses which shift into safety goggles as needed. |

| Personal History | Her mother Ygra, served as a Tellarite aid to the Federation delegation, and her father Toshin was a Starfleet engineer. The marriage broke up when Rozha was six and her mother remarried and divorced twice before Rozha left for university and service in the Starfleet reserve. Rozha had always intended on joining Starfleet but her academic career kept taking up her time until she graduated with her Doctorate in High Energy Physics and a second Doctorate in Metallurgy then she finally was able to take up a post in Starfleet. She has served on several starbases and science-oriented vessels. She has been engaged in a long-running debate with the physics department of the Vulcan Science Academy which she does not pursue in person for fear of bodily defenestrating a Vulcan scientist. Her greatest achievement so far has been a refinement of the tritanium alloy used in the antimatter injection system allowing for safer use of greater amounts of antimater while slowing molecular decay of the injector units. Although she had applied to every ship with a quantum slipstream drive but she knew her . . . disagreement with the science division personnel command were unlikely to allow her to pursue such firsthand study. So her assignment to the USS Vesta was as unexpected as it was welcome. She packed up and was on a shuttle before anyone could realize they had made a mistake. |
